Pitas at Sunrise!

It's starting... as I type this my poor basset has her front paws up on my lap and she's shaking. It's bad enough a storm had to roll through this evening, but now people are outside with firecrackers and she's scared out of her wits. We got her settled with the thunder, but she's not calming down now. Poor thing... this is always a bad time of year for her. It's only July 1 people... guess this is going to go on all week. Bah!

In other news, my favorite cartoonist is leaving the newspaper we read. :(

And in more other news... Lightning kills man at Island Beach state park... very scary.

Awe, the dog is curled up below my legs. She's so scared :( Grrrr on the firescrakers....

A year ago today I mentioned this on the side-bar of that day's entry: Dave Foley showed up in my dream last night. All I know is it was a weird but good dream, and it also involved Krissy. Dave Foley and Krissy - pitty I can't remember anything else.

I wonder what that dream was about? I still have trouble with remembering dreams... and such odd ones I've been having lately.

Grrr... I so wanted to win the latest thing I was bidding for on eBay - a collection of Alyson Hannigan clippings. Boo - left for work and I was winning, come home and I've lost. :( So now I just placed a bid on a huge batch of Buffy-related things, but that doesn't end for days and I'm not willing to spend a lot. The question is, should I bid again on the Kula Shaker shirt? Hmmm.

My Phillies are SEVEN games ahead in first place. 7.

It's sunny now but a storm rolled through an hour or so ago when I was still at work. I drive home into the darkness but the sun took over - over the weekend there was a tornado up north. The weather is crazy!

On to e-mail before my left hand falls off - wrist been bothering me since I woke up today. Bah.

Hehehe. Why (other than going to Philadelphia on Friday night) I've pretty much stayed put. It took forever to get to Philly too and that was the opposite direction of the tourists! They must be loving this bad weather - why people get so hyped up to come down here this weekend is beyond me. If I was a tourist, I wouldn't pick the last weekend in May to visit. Um, I doubt I'd come here to vacation to begin with ;) hehe. Hello people, it's cold and damp. Not exactly beach weather. Then again it makes the malls happy.
