I had found this one at this journal a week or two ago maybe? Don't think I posted it yet - at least I hope not. I did post of few of these on my main site a few times. I promise this is it for tonight. These are old anyway and I'm sure most people have seen them already!

I bought *my* computer tonight online.... my very first, really my own, from the very start, computer. Wow. A 60 GB hard drive. 256 MB of RAM. A CR-RW/DVD-ROM drive. Pentium 4 Processor 1.8 GHz. So excited.... now there's going to be so much to do... moving things around... hopefully transferring files (as much as possible)... wow. The speed I am going to have. And sound! Sound, imagine that! Oh I can't wait... sorry to babble.
Don't think I'll be writing a real entry at the site tonight. Too tired. Too excited about this. Too happy that the internet is working again (it was down from 3:15 until at least 9 last night when I shut down)...
[07:33 p.m.] Monday, February 11, 2002
I'm sorry... another quiz.

What's Your Style? Find out @ She's Crafty
"You're a true nature chick who loves the outdoors. Because you're always running from activity to activity, you have zero time for a full, fussy face of makeup. Instead, you want to be able to hop out of the shower, pull your hair into a ponytail, slap on some sunscreen, and go. Just make sure that your laid-back, all-things-natural attitude doesn't lead to you become lazy -even on-the-go girls need to glam themselves up sometimes!"
Heh.

During my little bit of computer time before I headed in for the night last night, the radio graced me with the following songs (cut and pasted, so that's why it's in caps): THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS - ANOTHER FIRST KISS
TRAVELLING WILBURYS - COOL DRY PLACE
MULEBONE - TAKE A GIANT STEP
PETER GABRIEL - WASHING OF THE WATER
LOS LOBOS - MAS Y MAS
STARSAILOR - GOOD SOULS
Yes, "Washing of the Water." I'd had never heard that on the radio before... it's one of my favorite songs. The first song on this list - is always in my head these days.
(n.p. the same station)

Oh how odd.... I just found out from looking at my ticket stub from the last time I saw Billy Joel in Philly - we are in the same section... though we are in row 15 this time and not row 2. I just hope the similarities end there - for that show was postponed not once, but twice. And the first time, we had driven all the way out to Philadelphia...

TICKETS
I GOT BILLY JOEL TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yayayayayayayayayayayayayayay!!!!!!!!
This will be my 5th time seeing Billy Joel, 2nd in Philly, and the second time I've seen him with Elton John. Woo hoo! I was worried through 'cos the ticketmaster site was messed up, and it wouldn't accept my billing info... but I have a confirmatoin # so hopefully all is well. Behind the stage we shall be...

Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain
(or "Amélie" as it is called here in the US)
What a good movie... I saw it this afternoon, in an almost sold-out theatre (at a 2:00 showing?). I quite liked it, even if I ended up having to see it alone. I'm glad I went. It'd been too long since I've gone to the movies (rather than renting). Next to see... Harry Potter of course. Soon.
(n.p. madman across the water - elton john)
[06:49 p.m.] Sunday, November 18, 2001
Umm.... interesting I guess.
I really shouldn't be here. In fact the five minutes I've spent sitting here at the computer shall be forgotten... yes. Pain I am in, from all this over time. And I'm going in an hour and a half early tomorrow. Ask me tomorrow at 5:30 if I am mad (mad as in crazy) or not.
That being said, no entry today obviously. And forgive any spelling errors; it's difficult to type.
'night.
(n.p. 90.5, which just played Ben Folds then Lisa Loeb and then somthing else now what's on now sounds good but I've no idea what it is. The song just said "I'll be the blue moon in the dark."
[08:26 p.m.] Thursday, November 15, 2001
Right now, I wish I was back in high school... grade school, whatever, as long as it is k-12. Why?

(teacher's convention; November was always such a quick month in school for you had this three day week, then again for Thanksgiving. Those were the days!)
Back to watching ER I go.
