Today was another one of those movie-Saturdays. It was cold and rainy this morning, wind chill of 39ºf. Sun came out later in the day, but was still around 50 and windy. So...
not that we wouldn't have anyway, but we went to the movies :)
Monsoon Wedding finally came here! Of course we saw that. Rented a movie tonight too... and tomorrow shall see About a Boy after (oh my god yay) seeing the new "shore thing" house. Just kidding about the "oh my god yay" part, but yes, we'll be walking by it when we take a pre-movie walk. Not like we haven't walked by that building (before it's conversion) a trillion times. Heh.

My DVD of Velvet Goldmine came today... so now I have it on VHS and DVD. Obsessed? heh. I thought the DVD had special features, but no such luck. Perhaps I had been reading about a limited edition or maybe a British version (or maybe the two of those combined) last year before I had a DVD player? The website where I had found that info doesn't seem to have it up anymore! In any case, it will be nice to be able to jump to scenes in an instant via the DVD. Oh, I also got myself Hedwig :) They shipped so fast, bn.com... I placed the order less than a week ago.
I think my VG collection is complete now though... soundtrack (of course), screenplay book, VHS, and DVD. My my....
